ABOUT US

Right Hand Ministries was established in 2020 by Rochelle Racette, a Minnesotan with a dying desire to come alongside the people of Uganda to offer help. After three mission trips to Uganda, two specifically to the Kiboga District, Rochelle felt like God was calling her to do something more permanent for the people of Kiboga; that's how Right Hand Ministries began.

Right Hand Ministries, or RHM, gained it’s name due to the founder and president, Rochelle Racette, always feeling as though God was on her right side, offering his hand to her and those in need. Therefore, she wanted to combine God’s right hand and hers to come alongside the people of Uganda and provide support.

RHM is based out of Minnesota, USA, however all on the ground involvement takes place in the Kiboga District of Uganda. The Kiboga District is approximately a 2.5 hour drive northwest of Kampala, the capital of Uganda. The Kiboga District is remote and has limited access to resources, education, income stability, and medical care.

RHM consists of nine board members, five in the USA and four in Uganda. Two of the Ugandan board members are continuously involved in the community of Kiboga, developing relationships to understand the communities' specific needs.

The mission of RHM is to improve the lives and futures of the people of Uganda through education, skills, and the love of Jesus Christ. RHM wants to come alongside the people of Kiboga, listen to their needs, and make a very intentional impact, one life at a time.

At this time, RHM has two primary goals that will form the building blocks of the organization. The first goal to fulfill our mission is to purchase land. The second goal is to construct a community center for the people and children of Kiboga on the purchased land. Once completed, the community center will be a safe place for children to gather to be taught about Jesus Christ, develop their education, and obtain resources to help with everyday life. A place where young men can learn about responsibility while participating on a football team. It will be a building of hope to pregnant teenage mothers as they learn to navigate life with a newborn. The community center will be a building of love to all who enter providing encouragement, guidance, and resources to those in need. Empowered by the love of Jesus Christ, RHM strives to bring stability, prosperity, and hope to the people of the Kiboga District of Uganda.
